What is Microblading
Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure that can last (on average) from six to 18 months. Microblading is achieved by pigment being implanting in the skin using hair-like strokes following an individual’s unique eyebrow hair-growth pattern. The tool used for this micropigmentation technique is a “blade”, or a series of small, fine needles in a single row. Microblading is increasingly popular because of the natural look that it achieves.
Is It Safe? Allergy Concerns
There is less than a quarter of one percent chance that a person will experience an allergic reaction to the pigments used in permanent cosmetics. Despite that fact, an allergy test is always available to clients before receiving a permanent cosmetic service. If a client chooses to receive an allergy test, they must wait one week (7 days) before they are able to get their scheduled procedure. In New Jersey, only disposable tools are used, when possible, to decrease the likelihood of infection.
