What is Permanent Cosmetics
Before receiving a service, it is always important to have a clear understanding of what the service is.
What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is care-free, waterproof, and will not smudge or run. It consists of implanting pigment into the skin using an array of small needles.
How Long Does It Last?
Permanent makeup lasts around (on average) two to five years. Services that apply to that time frame are: permanent eyeliner, permanent eyebrows, and micro shading. Microblading lasts (on average) six to 18 months. All of these time frames are an average and, therefore, are an estimate seeming as every person is different. A person’s permanent makeup or microblading results can last for less time or longer than the average time stated above.
Is It Safe? Allergy Concerns
There is less than a quarter of one percent chance that a person will experience an allergic reaction to the pigments used in permanent cosmetics. Despite that fact, an allergy test is always available to clients before receiving a permanent cosmetic service. If a client chooses to receive an allergy test, they must wait one week ( days) before they are able to get their scheduled procedure.
